The Iranian official offered sympathy to the Pakistani nation and government over the deadly terrorist attacks, IRNA reported.
Khatibzadeh rejected all forms of terrorism, saying that all regional countries must participate in the continuous fight against the perpetrators, organizers, supporters, and sponsors of such terrorist attacks.
Thirteen security personnel and seven private guards were killed in two separate attacks in Balochistan's Gwadar district and the North Waziristan tribal district on Thursday, according to Dawn newspaper.
In the first incident, seven soldiers of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and seven security guards were killed in an encounter with a "large number of terrorists" while escorting a convoy of state-run Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd. on the Makran coastal highway in Ormara, an Inter-Services Public Relations statement said. The convoy was on its way to Karachi from Gwadar when it came under attack.
In the second incident, six Pakistan Army personnel were killed in a bomb attack near Razmak area of North Waziristan, the military's media wing said.
It said a convoy of security forces was attacked through an improvised explosive device (IED), resulting in the death of one officer and five soldiers.
