European firms to continue trade with Iran: Envoy

Christo Polendakov made the remarks on Tuesday at the inauguration ceremony of AMB Iran 2018 in Tehran, IRNA reported.

Lifting sanctions is one the achievements of Iran nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he said, adding that unilateral US act caused concerns in this respect.

The European Union, he added, is after preparing facilities for European investors and companies to continue activities in Iran.

Today trading without borders is underway in the form of events such as exhibitions in the EU and also in other countries, Polendakov pointed out.

Meanwhile Bernhard Müller, the vice president and member of the Board of Directors of Messe Stuttgart said holding AMB Iran 2018 indicates EU's emphasis on developing trade ties with Iran.

The event is the biggest machinery exhibition in Iran and over 140 Iranian and foreign firms attended the event.
